My name is Melanie, I am a painter and I live in Almeria, Spain.  This is my gallery.

I studied art at Epsom and Liverpool in England and now I am The Portrait Artist at the prestigious Hotel Valle del Este golf resort just outside Vera, Costa Almeria.  I spend most of my time painting portraits of people by commission  -  whether in the hotel or in my studio at home, near Puerto Rey in the south east corner of Spain.

I also paint scenes / landscapes, houses / buildings and especially Indalos. My Indalo Art is based on the famous Indalo Man - the symbol of Almería and a lucky symbol all over the world.
